Life at Christ

Christ University is where Roshan R Sivakumar started his MBA in Lean Operations and Systems. But honestly, most of the real education happened outside the classroom: Pioneer Club, Ushus, an outbound trip to Ramanagar, and a campus full of people from every corner of India.

Roshan R Sivakumar showed up at Christ University's School of Business and Management for his MBA and jumped straight into campus life. Within his first few weeks he'd already joined Pioneer Club, the university's flagship student leadership and events group, earning his badge at their opening event, Curtain Riser. He went on to help direct promo videos and run icebreakers for incoming juniors.

Ushus, the university's big cultural fest, kept pulling him back, first as a participant, later as part of the team running the show. And when the cohort headed to Ramanagar for outbound training, the trekking and team exercises did what they usually do: turned classmates into the kind of friends who show up for your farewell and your birthday dinner both.

On the academic side, his business analytics work took 3rd Prize at Chrizellenz 2024, Christ's flagship analytics competition, an early hint of the data-first thinking he'd carry to VCU and later to the shop floor at RR HEVIREX. His MBA section, LOS-3, turned into something like a second family, a mix of Indian and international classmates, several of whom ended up at VCU right alongside him.

Then came
Virginia.
